AURUM® Resin Families
AURUM® TPI resin is a thermoplastic polyimide that is melt-processable lending itself to fabrication methods such as injection molding and extrusion. Offering continuous use temperatures to 240°C (464°F), components made from AURUM® resin families are excellent replacements for metals, ceramics, and other plastics.
Typical Properties of AURUM® JCF3030
A carbon fiber and PTFE filled grade that withstands high Pressure/Velocity (PV) levels and exhibits low wear and low friction over a broad temperature range in lubricated environments.
Typical Properties of AURUM® JCL3030
An internally lubricated carbon fiber reinforced grade that withstands high PV levels and exhibits low wear and low friction over a broad temperature range in both dry and lubricated environments.
Typical Properties of AURUM® JCN3030
A carbon fiber reinforced grade that offers a unique balance of mechanical, thermal, and tribological properties and exhibits low outgassing performance for use in high vacuum environments.
Typical Properties of AURUM® JGN3030
A glass fiber reinforced grade that is an excellent candidate for applications requiring excellent thermal and/or electrical insulation and offers improved strength over PL450C.
Typical Properties of AURUM® PL450C
A general-purpose, unfilled grade that offers a good balance of mechanical and thermal properties for applications requiring good electrical and thermal insulation.
